SPAY & NEUTER

 

Since 2005, Helping Out Pets Everyday has been providing spaying and neutering opportunities for residents in the community through our partnership with Western University's College of Veterinary Medicine VACS mobile van. 

 

VACS = Veterinary Ambulatory Community Service.  Through this liaison, HOPE has been instrumental in facilitating the spaying and neutering of THOUSANDS dogs and cats.  This service has made a significant impact on the over-population crisis in our community. 

 

This service is open to everyone no matter what city you reside in.

The VACS mobile vehicle provides service on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Arrival time is 8:15 am.  Pick up time is 5:00 pm. More information will be provided at the time of e-mail confirmation of appointment.

 

Be patient. Please remember we are an ALL-VOLUNTEER organization. 

We are doing our best to help pet owners to spay and neuter their pets.  Sometimes we are overwhelmed with requests, so please be patient and e-mail again until you receive a response. We want to help you!

 

For lower cost surgeries, we also recommend ONTARIO Spay and Neuter -- 750 North Archibald Avenue in OntarioCheck out their website here. 

They have excellent prices for the services they provide.

For Male DOGS

Male Dogs:

<35 lbs​            -- $55*

>35 to 60 lbs   -- $65*

>60 to 75 lbs   -- $80*

*Includes pain medication following surgery

Plus $10 appointment fee for surgery screen

Additional:  If in heat or obese: extra $10

                

 

For Female DOGS

Female Dogs:
