SAVE A PET

WHY SUPPORT HOPE?

We are your local rescue saving lives in your community!

We have been making a difference in the lives of homeless dogs and cats since 2003!

We have saved over 1,000 dogs and cats through our rescue efforts and intervention.

We can only do more with your support.  Providing medical care, vaccines, and sanctuary while our rescues are being prepared for adoption, is expensive.  We can't continue to do what we do without your help.  Medical care, microchip, food and sanctuary for those dogs and cats we have rescued at the eleventh hour costs us thousands of dollars each month.

As an all-volunteer organization we don't receive government aid or funding.  Your donation also helps us to continue our spay/neuter programs to continue to help to reduce the numbers of pets being born to die and fueling the pet over-population crisis.

Dog of the Week

Meet CHANCE -- Chance was rescued from a dangerous situation living on the streets.  It took a village to trap him and get him to safety.  He's just under a year old.  We are working with him in order to prepare him for adoption.  He's a special boy that doesn't trust those he doesn't know.  Our team is working with him to socialize him and get him ready to meet the public.  He's READY.  He's a great boy!

Cat of the Week

Meet SHADOW -- Shadow was rescued by a Good Samaritan who cared for him and made sure he was safe.  He's a sweet boy that would do well in a home with a lot of attention and in a more quiet all adult home.  He's a big boy and starting to become more socialized.

Want to make a difference in the life of a just one dog or cat? Want to join a team of amazing volunteers who are doing just that?  Then consider joining us!  Our volunteer team is the core of making a difference when it comes to saving a life.  Without their help, we wouldn't exist.  It's only possible with them!

A record number of dogs and cats are being put to sleep in shelters all across Southern California.  Our goal is to save as many lives as possible.  We can only do that with a dedicated team of volunteers willing to sacrifice their precious free time to help us do that.  If you have a few hours to give each week, you can help!  There are many opportunities to give a little that would mean a lot to the dogs and cats we have rescued.  Contact Margaret Coffman, President, for more information.

We ARE making a difference!

thanks dog cat.png
thank you paw prints.jpg

Our heartfelt thanks to all our thoughtful, compassionate and generous supporters who made contributions during the most difficult years of all, 2020 AND 2021!

Without your love and commitment to our mission, we would have never made it!

We thank each and every one of you for continuing to help us with monetary donations, food, supplies and your heartfelt thoughts and well wishes.

As an all-volunteer non-profit, we did not qualify for government assistance during the pandemic.

On behalf of all of us at HOPE, and that includes our four-legged rescues, we cannot thank you enough for keeping us alive.  We look forward to getting back to what we do best later this year (2021).  In the meantime, we are continuing to care for our rescues with the same love and care as we always do!

HAVE A SPECIAL TALENT?

HOPE NEEDS YOUR HELP

Event Planning Committee Members Needed

Would you like to volunteer at special events or help us to plan successful fundraisers?  If so, we are looking for team members to volunteer to help us not only plan, but help us staff future events, too.

As part of the team you will be working together with experienced members of our HOPE Board to plan and execute a variety of fundraisers to help raise monies to support our dogs and cats that have been rescued from high kill facilities.

If you would like more information, or would like to volunteer your time and talent to help us, please contact us for more information.  Thank you!

There's HOPE!

Your $10 Donation Will Help Us        Save a Life!

2020HOPECalendar.JPG

Due to the COVID pandemic we were unable to produce our annual HOPE Calendar for 2021 and 2022. We were very disappointed not being able to showcase our rescues and happy endings of twelve of our precious dogs and cats!

We are working on printing a retro calendar for 2023!  Thank you for your continued support!!

HOPE has published a yearly calendar since 2005.  Due to the COVID pandemic, we were unable to publish our calendar in 2021 and 2022.

We HOPE to publish a calendar for the 2023 calendar year.  We ask your support in making a donation for a calendar if we are able to print one.

We are often asked by those who support our mission --

"What can we do to help?"  We need funds to support the medical expenses incurred by our rescues.

Your support helps us to spay/neuter, vaccinate, microchip, and do necessary blood work and dentals for the dogs and cats we rescue from death row.

We had wonderful sponsors who helped to make our 2020 HOPE Calendar possible. We are hopeful we will continue to have the same support when we publish our calendar in 2023.  We realize it has been missed by many of our supporters.
