PRESS RELEASE                              FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

June 11, 2009

January, 2010:  We still need volunteers!

Volunteer Search

Upland, CA – Helping Out Pets Everyday, in partnership with the Upland Animal Services Shelter, is actively seeking volunteers for an exciting opportunity to fill a variety of positions to be offered at the animal shelter, which will be opening soon at Upland Memorial Park.

As the new shelter liaison, Helping Out Pets Everyday’s president, Margaret Coffman will oversee the development of the shelter’s volunteer staff.  “This is a wonderful opportunity for me and for Helping Out Pets Everyday.  Our Upland shelter will become a gathering place for the community and the prospect of overseeing the HOPE volunteer program that includes direct interaction with the dogs and cats inside the new facility is indeed an honor,” Coffman said.

If you are at least 16 years of age, you may be qualified to join the volunteer team!  If you are interested in this unique opportunity, please contact Margaret Coffman through e-mail at:  Margaret@helpingoutpetseveryday.com or leave a message for her at 1-800-811-4285.

CATS and MORE CATS!

This is kitten season and there are hundreds of cats and kittens flooding shelters all across California.

HOPE recently rescued cats from the Upland Shelter when they were full.

We cannot take on more!

We are at maximum capacity and have a large number of cats in boarding as we are trying to save as many as we can.

If you have found a cat or kitten, please try to find it an indoor only home.  Shelters are just as full as are the many rescue organizations and rescuers out there that are trying so desperately to help.

Please spay/neuter prior to placing the kitten!

Please do your part to help at this critical time of the year!

DONATIONS NEEDED!

Please help us to continue our mission to rescue and save the lives of so many impounded dogs and cats.

We need your help!   The medical costs for caring for so many rescued dogs and cats is always a challenge.  We continue to fund our spay/neuter program and aid as many people as we can, but we can't without your help!

Please consider supporting our efforts through a monthly contribution.

We are a non profit corporation.  Donations made to us are tax deductible.

The dogs and cats appreciate your kind assistance.

Thank You So Much!
