Free Spaying/Neutering DOGS/CATS OF UPLAND RESIDENTS ONLY In our continuing effort to help reduce the number of dogs and cats euthanized by the City of Upland Animal Shelter, HOPE is offering FREE spaying/neutering for dogs and cats of Upland residents. Since 2005, HOPE has funded the altering of hundreds of dogs and cats belonging to Upland residents as a service to our community.. DATES FOR 2009 PROGRAM YEAR [SECOND HALF] New Dates Announced for FREE Spay/Neuter. The Veterinary Ambulatory Community Service [VACS] mobile spay/neuter van from Western University School of Veterinary Medicine is scheduled to service Upland residents through our HOPE program on the following dates: Tuesday, August 11, 2009 -- Appointments FILLED Thursday, August 27, 2009 -- Appointments FILLED Thursday, September 10, 2009 -- Appointments FILLED Thursday, September 24, 2009 -- Appointments FILLED Tuesday, October 20, 2009 -- Appointments FILLED Thursday, November 5, 2009 -- Appointments FILLED In order to take advantage of this service provided and funded by HOPE, you must be an UPLAND RESIDENT and you must have a PRE-SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT [proof of residency is required]. If you would like to schedule an appointment [only 7 appointments will be scheduled for each of the above dates], please e-mail us at Macc219@aol.com. Due to the large numbers of requests, we are now scheduling appointments through e-mail ONLY. We cannot return phone calls for this program. Please keep in mind that we get many requests for this free service so continue to contact us if you have not received a reply. Please be patient.
